I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a Registered Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
I work in Ealing, West London, where I offer psychological counselling to individuals who may be experiencing a wide range of difficulties.
With the client, I explore what brings people to seek psychological therapy or counselling, and what they hope to achieve. I aim to alleviate distress and help people gain a greater understanding of their problems.
I provide time-limited and longer term psychological therapy and counselling to people experiencing mental distress. Some clients may find that they only need to see me for six weeks, other may want to take a year or more to fully understand their experience.
The sorts of problems that I work with include anxiety, depression, anger and aggression, panic disorder, self-harm, chronic pain, physical illness, bulimia, sleep problems, childhood sexual abuse, work-related problems, loss and bereavement, relationship difficulties and gender dysphoria. I have worked with people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
In some cases, clients may not know exactly what is troubling them and wish to meet to discuss their thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental, warm and empathic setting.
